ALL OVERCOME
The sun goes down in a blaze of fire
The moon keeps spinning the Earth
Tide breathes in and out on a line
Wind is unceasing like breath
Two by two the animals enter the
tomb
The pyramid shines like ivory in
the dunes
In dances the shadows are veils
unsewn
Bodies in the warm dark entwined
like runes
My spirit has flown across the land
Across mountain and valley, and
seas
Through hunger, dread and darkest
fear
A thousand trials to rest my head
on home shores
All overcome
